Man, I would have happily given you all sorts of stuff off the CRD I parted out if you were nearby, all sorts of stuff just went to scrap.

don't replace the regulators, replace the POS plastic part that breaks with a metal one. Factory harness is integrated into the body wiring, and does not unplug like on the XJs.

I took a video looking at turbo differences, I guess I'll stick with the original turbo: https://youtu.be/dCqJu-dNSLM -
Pictures of Comanches with Toppers.

Assuming you were trying to ask the question at the top, its basically just the small truck LWB wildernest. Should Fit toyota trucks and the like. The previous topper I had which was a little low for the cab fit toyotas like a glove. -

I’m sure it’s possible. I don’t know how.

Alexia's 1987 To 1997 Comanche

Cool. Is the throttle body CAN or does it take an analog or PWM signals to open? Does it have a integrated IAC valve? what are you using for a TPS/APPS for this setup? -
I sort of doubt the efficacy of this on a really rusted bolt/nut. Would be more impressed if they showed it working on something rusty.

Alexia, I have a drive by wire throttle body that is meant to be used standalone and accepts a CAN of it something that might help you. I think I have one or two I grabbed but I haven’t tested yet. Info: http://www.woodward.com/LATsF.aspx -
"Security system" I should have a spare in all my parts from the parts CRD. I just don't' know where it went.

Started up in the morning, drove to work, parked. Came out at lunch and had a no crank condition. After swapping the starter relay with another I decided the starter relay was fine. Luckily I had a short piece of wire with me and I was able to jumper out the starter relay to crank the engine. With the key to on the Jeep starts like normal. I haven't traced the issue back yet, but it may be related to the ignition switch/pin that seems to be a common failure, or perhaps some of Park-Nuetral switch sense. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EauvjE5VUU0

I could meetup in that timeframe. I might also be able to hook you it with a corporate rate code for avis that might make a rental ~60 a day.

That is interesting. Not a huge fan of the durango over the KJ, Would have been more interesting to me in a 4 door dakota. -
Ugh. I actually had a set from a limited KJ I wanted to install. I put that cluster in in a bin with some other stuff, the ABS pump leaked out fluid and trashed the gauge cluster face with chrome rings. Bummer, but I can find another one at a junkyard, just sucks to see a good part trashed.

Version 2: Wheel from a 2011-2012 KK (also from WK2, JK, etc). Test fitment on the wheel looks good, splines and all work correct, clearance to the clock spring is good. Wheel fits like its meant to be there. KK airbag works the same as the KJ airbag, dual inflator. And since the KK is the same vehicle with a different skin the airbag is basically a newer skin on our same airbag system. One thing of note on the airbag is that that the inflators #1 and #2 are swapped on the latest KK airbag, these need to be swapped on the wiring to hookup correct on the newer KK airbag. Now the hard part, the switches for the cruise and radio are all messed up. I might be able to install KJ radio switches but the KK cruise switches need work. Right now two of the cruise switches raise and lower the volume. What I need to do next is work on the switches and change out some resistors to get the radio and cruise functions back to what they need to be. This will likely be the hardest part. Had to notch out the harness plug to fit the KJ clockpring, otherwise the wire harness plug is the same. Will update when I figure out more on the switches. Going for this look:

I guess it depends on why you are putting videos on youtube, do you want a successful channel that people come to and check out and view videos? Or do you just want to put out a technical video but gont give a F if you get much traffic. Do you want to monetize your video, build a following? Because if I came across a 15 minute video and I'm not drawn into it in the first 30 seconds I'm likely not going to stick around, as is I have to skip to some point at the end to see what it is, and if I even want to watch the video. To get people to watch the video you need to give them a reason to stick around and watch the video, and with a long video they need a damm good reason. When you build ANYTHING, legos, ikea furniture, etc, you get a picture of what your are going to build BEFORE you build it. I've had to switch my MO for youtube, before I was content to monetize my few videos and get enough money to cover the hosting expenses for my website, but youtube recently changed the rules and you need to have 1000 subscribers to monetize your account. This means I need to switch my MO to try and keep my channel operating in the same way, part of that is doing things more like the above.

What are you using to edit? The titles feel a little cheesy/not professional. Video only shows 720p, is that the highest resolution you can shoot in or is it only showing 720p because youtube is still processing the higher resolutions? Content seems good, my only recommendation might be to split it into 2 - 3 parts and then keep all the video in a playlist. Couple of reasons for that: Shorter videos are easier to sit through. I struggle with this lots since I wind of with tons of great footage and information, but for brevity I have to cut it down. The sped up videos help out lots for this, but its hard to chop things away. Generally I go bloody murder on it and cut out a ton of stuff to get videos to watchable length. Individual videos for one type of task make it easier for people to rewatch the section they need to focus on, example in case this playlist for the Jeep KJ diesel timing belt: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDbSTRhfMcEjDX0QMnrwIViobDPGbbwVD See how thats in 6 parts? If you look at the play count some parts have many more views because they are needed by more people or they need to be watched in more detail. This also has the added benefit of getting your watch count a little higher which helps with certain metrics. Also consider at the beginning of the video during a quick before/after section, show me early on why I want to watch the video by showing me the final product.

Agreed there are some really big panels in the vans. That said the roof of the MJ is like a drum, but not much noise comes from above. Engine, Transmission, exhuast, and tires are your big producers. I'm planning to spray the sound deadener on inside and outside surfaces to help block sound from those places. Then follow up with some of the dynamat type stuff and closed cell foam. Really I'm trying couple of different methods to get the sound down. Hoping each one attenuates something a little bit better so overall I am left with a quieter cab.

I finally found the TJ gauge cluster plug I needed, found a random plug in a WJ, I think for climate control stuff, that had the correct pin count. The next day while pulling a subaru engine I found the same plug(in grey instead of black), under a subaru dash. So now I have 2, and multiple KJ cluster plugs as spares. -

Yup I gotcha on the texture, the "leather" pattern on the plastics changed. I actually have both the original tan interior and the black plastic, PLUS an agate 01 interior and the "camel" tan 01 interior. I'm keeping both as options in reserve, I might switch between them for fun even. I like the agate but I have never had the "camel" interior, and I think it would match nicely with the PR4 flame red exterior. I can find agate paint to make sure the rear parts match.....but I cannot find "camel" paint to get my yellowish tan to match the 01 camel tan. -

I also lucked out and found black interior parts a long time back, so I have black b pillars that matches the agate very well. -
20% everything excluding coins/bills, and real estate. I guess ebay is eating the 20% today to encourage people to come back to ebay over amazon.

PSPRING20 I ordered a JCR DIY bumper off ebay with the 20% off. Might be a good time to pickup an expensive item, ends at 8 pm pacific.

I've never actually done the pass airbag on a KJ before. What year is yours? 02-03 or 04+? I have a dash sitting in the garage with the airbag in it, ought be easier to see what to remove that way, let me try and take a look this weekend.
