    Craigslist

last night on a whim I checked CL for fort collins for jeep wheels I usually don't bother checking for my local town since way more stuff pops up in denver. I came across a set of wheels I love. guy is asking $400. i send him an email "I have $300 cash and can pick them up as soon as your ready, let me know" He emails back and says yes and that he will be free after 6pm. I tell him I will meet him at 6:30. I arrive promptly at 6:30 on the dot. Get out, check wheels over, reach into wallet, hand over 3 $100 bills. load wheels and drive away. Thats how you do a craigslist deal, serious buyers and serious sellers make life easier.
  2. huh....never looked at it that closly......what the heck is going on with that thing? purpose built movie prop?
  3. MJ gets some new shoes: Got em for $300 locally, wheels are just about perfect, nar a scratch on them....for now. Got the master/slave combo out of a 96 today, gonna go back on sunday and grab a NP242. Here you can see the difference between the 4Liter bellhousing and the CRD bellhousing: Got the master/slave, plus a bunch of other junk for $26.
  4. agreed
  5. $100 tops.
  6. I have the $39 one from harbor frieght, its hard to beat for the price.
  7. Bought this NV3550 for my MJ today for $550: As you can see the bellhousing is broken so I got him down by $50, its the wrong bellhousing for me anyways, pictured next to it is the correct bellhousing for the CRD engine.

Thanks Eagle... in the exchange of emails he said they were recently added "Wrangler" rims, which leads me to believe more likely 15x8 To confirm: Those are wrangler canyons, NOT ZJ canyons. The wrangler canyons are very similar to the TJ Ravines.
  9. PR4 - Flame Red Its what my MJ will be. on my old cherokee:
  10. If you need any OEM parts ay 25% list from projeep off 104th let me know. the fiberglass header is less than $200 from them with my discount.
  11. I thought a 12 Second Quarter Mile was pretty solid for what it was running... That's a fairly heavily modified one, though (engine swap, or extensive mods to the 2.8v6 ). Don't get me wrong here, I love fiero's and as I said almost picked one up; but bone stock they are far from what I would consider fast. Never said anything about stock... His was heavily modified, and it was probably in the top 5 fastest cars that I've been in, ever... You also never said anything about not stock either.

    Chicks!

Allergic to eggs huh? that sucks! They are pretty low maintance once they are grown, just kinda wander around eyeing bugs and eating all sorts of little things off the ground. Once they get bigger I will chicken wire my fence (I have this crappy every other fence style for most of my fence), that way they can just scratch and poke around my whole backyard. I also know the back scratch thing. Our chickens used to do that to. Except when ours did it they stopped producing eggs, they would squat down and spread their wings, once you petted them on the back they would start laying again. Basically, you have to go out and sex up the chickens every now and then, heck, everyone needs some lovin'
  14. chrome, makes it look less like a kia without hubcaps.

    Chicks!

I took some more pictures. I'm wondering what kind of chickens I got. The lady seemed to know what they were, but I was just kinda picking out the ones I liked.

    Chicks!

Tiny little pluckers, prolly only a week old now. Here in about 16weeks I can think about having eggs. Hopefully they all got sexed right and I won't have to be getting rid of a rooster.
  18. I'm digging that whole front... Looks kinda like an older Isuzu Trooper.. or a newer land rover.
  19. I have together a collection of 2500 pictures here for you guys to check out: http://www.colorado4wheel.com/content/Jeep2500.html
  20. No 97+ front here, the MJ still has its original. If you really want cheap 97+ parts check out this place, they may have a location near you: http://certifit.com/
  21. I've seen about a dozens or so around town here.
  22. That bumper would fold up under the axle before it'd do any good.. yes, weak point is still the bumper brackets
  23. lol....aint it the truth! man, I've been driving around my dads 98 turbo diesel mercedes for the past few days, makes me want to get this thing on the road all that much more.....I've been getting used to the diesel oder......man what a great smell!
  24. Bought a parts jeep today, 2001, 48k, and abused: I just want it for the dash/interior stuff to convert the interior of the MJ, I am hoping the paint will come off, if not I will just replace the visible panels. Real shame someone spray painted the interior, it would have been otherwise nice parts. So it will have a number of parts for me to use, plus a 48k mile engine/trans to sell off, plus whatever misc parts.
  25. No, not really any wider. a little "thicker" (outer face is larger), but thats all.
