  1. Your needle is bouncing because the speedo cable is squeez, look for any tight turn. The cable inside must turn freely. :brows: For the brake, you have to unscrew the caliper to change the pad.

    Congrat !!
  3. You will have to find a Cluster for the RENIX aera (1987-1990). After the ECU was from Chrysler.
  4. Look great, nice find :D
  5. Welcome !!! Love the red one
  6. Welcome to the Madness  For your cluster swap use a same year cherokee/comanche with the full cluster, remove the cluster and the sensor. You will to change the sensors too. For a partial swap, I think that possible, but you need to custom made the cluster.
  7. Clean job & a very nice truck ;) Keep going
  8. Pretty sure, this is a D44.
  9. Is the cannister on all model ? :brows: My Comanche don't have any option. (no Cruise, no A/C)
  10. Take a 20 min. ride with my 89 truck yesterday. Put the heater on, blowing hot air. After driving a couple of minute the air stop coming out, I release the gaz pedal and the air come back. Do you have any suggestion were to begin my search? :dunce:
  11. Yes, all engine/electrical parts up front are interchargeable with a Cherokee the same year. ;)
  12. You get my vote
  13. My humble opinion is to stick with jeep motor. You could find a good 2.5 in JY for less money than a swap. I don't think your economy on MPG will egal the investment.
  14. Our truck have leaking problems, usually coming from the windshield unsealed. You could remove the metal trim without damaging the seal. The metal trim holded wit plastic clip, just lift them gently. My suggestion is to ask a professional to seal it.
  15. It's a Shame. :(
  16. Great work, nice clean truck
  17. The description from AA1: "1989-1990 Jeep Wagoneer AIRTEX Fuel Pump L6-242ci 4.0L F/I Vin L." Seem to me this unit is for a Cherokee , the Comanche have different fuel pump unit assembly. You could not use a Cherokee assembly on a Comanche. If you want to change all the assembly, check at the Junk Yard. You could change only the pump if you want.
  18. Welcome to CC  Nice find !!!
  19. Congrat :D

  21. I put bucket seat from a 4 doors XJ. I am 6'1", have enought space. 8) I am pretty sure have as 9" space at the back.
  22. The hydraulic clutch is a recurrent problem on our truck. - Slave - Master - Hoses If the slave is failling, you will find some drip on the bell. For the master, look under the dash, if you find some drip around the caoutchouc boose. If dripping on the fuse box, take action to replace the master ASAP. Electrical circuit melt with brake oil.
  23. Yes, but you have to grab all the parts around the 4wd Don't forget the shifter & linkage for 4wd :D
