  1. So I tried looking for OMIX-ADA CA's on RockAuto and NAPA. RA has em for $59, NAPA has thier own for $75. Amazon? ya, $68. I want to find the $30 OMIX-ADA ones.....
  2. I'm not using the gullwing box that you've previously seen. Instead, I securely mounted this old weather-proof ammo box with some stainless hardware. Convenient size and doesn't stick up above the bedrail.
  3. Did you do a cut n' fold to the rear or justa cut?
  4. Yakima or Thule gutter mounts/feet with the load bars for an XJ work perfectly. I've tried
  5. If you order the DANA SPICER Part # DS706944 (x2) for a D30 it's only $98.40 before shipping  That's 2 uppers & 2 lowers!
  6. Sounds like a clogged fuel filter. My .o2c
  7. Heh, looks like it comes with a factory GoPro in the front valance... :wall: Apparently they (at Chrysler) couldn't make up thier minds on what kinda headlights they wanted on the new Cherokee.......
  8. I copied the url link to your picture and entered it into image icon. The icon to the left of this icon: <>
  9. Had to click on it but yes. remove the surrounding img's
  10. So I just pulled my speedo cable out. It measures 74" long and is just the right length. Advance Auto shows it being 94" long (Dorman # 03269) RockAuto shows it 96" long (Dorman # 03269) Both are going to be waaay too long. Napa (BK 6151606) shows one being 87" long but it claims it's the lower cable (and w/cruise, which I do not have) and the cluster end is threaded vs. the push on type. my 2 spare clusters are both push on type as well. Any suggestions/idea's? :???:
  11. Just ordered from Advance Auto. $22.88. Should be in on Sunday. Lets hope it's the right one...
  12. Remember the lower you go in gear ratio (higher numerically) the smaller the pinion shaft is going to be. In a D30 w/35's+, that'll be your weak link. What a PITA to change versus axleshaft u-joints. Toss in a crawl box for the rocks/climbimg and keep good street manners too with a set of 4.10's-4.56's.
  13. What year(s) Grand?
  14. Oh ya, doh.... nothing to see hear, lol...
  15. Thank you sir, that link has been bookmarked
  16. Must be a PW conversion cuz the master switch has 4 switches but the truck only has 2 windows! But I plan on doing the same to mine....
  17. My 2000 K2500 is similiar. Full of fuel=7/8 on the guage. When the guage says empty, I still have 10+ gallons left. Reason: Original sending unit with a bigger replacement tank.
  18. Shahp looking. Maybe the fella meant pushbar instead of roll bar? :hmm:
  19. Perfect. That's the same Dorman number that RockAuto showed. I'll call my local Advance in the mernin. Thanks for all the input everyone! Greatly appreciated! Keyav8r: If Advance falls thru, I'll be in contact w you. I'd love to go down there, watch a race, grab some Jeep parts. 2 birds w one stone, haha
  20. Tried to order from RockAuto. Currently unavailable. Go figure. But for $20, I added my email to the wait list
  21. Mine is 4wd. Would one work from a era-correct XJ?
  22. I run 4.56 Motive gears in my Aussied 8.25 & HP30, both from a 98 XJ installed in my 00 XJ. 33x10.5 KM2's. Lotta street time, overloaded camping trips, and hardcore rocks. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Just my .o2c
  23. So I finally experienced the infamous death wobble today (after several years of hearing about it.) It shook so bad it broke my speedometer cable where it attaches to the back of the cluster. My 88 Comanche has 4 new ball joints, and fairly new shocks (w/in 2 yrs) including the steering stabilizer, along w/a new trackbar. Where should I start looking for a new speedo cable? The sqaure end still spins but I've had no luck with superglueing the end back on.
  24. You're not gonna fit 2.5 gallons into that short little filler hose. Just sayin
