that 6 speed looks tempting, i wonder what id need to do to get it to mate up to my I6.. would i need a different transfercase.. ?

iam sure someone here has done a 8.8 conversion.. when iam hooking up the brakes do i need a proportioning valve? i was told i do or the brakes will lock up to quick in the rear?.. i saw a write up on a 8.8 swap it didnt look like the guy did that

i was lookin for a ax15 and the tcase, but just learned that the ba10/5 is geared a little lower? is it?... if thats true i may just get another ba10 or rebuild mine stronger..

i finally got some pics of mine and that kids comanches, me him my sister and her husband and some friends went wheeling yesterday i invited trey (owns the grey manche) along to see it wheel... it looks good but its kinda tall and skinny it also has 3.07s open front and rear so it wasnt doin very much.. but its still cool to see another manche out on the trails with me it was all fun untill my sister and her husband rolled..but we got it back over and kept goin here's the pics Image Not Found i snapped this pic as we all were a parking lot about to leave Image Not Found look what pulled up as we were in the parking lot! looks good man i wanna do front leafs on my manche one day.. i HATE coils.. my LCA's have no more bushings left... so i have death wobble..atleast i think thats where its comin from... so how much lift did those waggy leafs give? i have spring over in the rear of my manche. would waggys be the same? and i like your front crossmember bumper idea.. for the shackles of course lol..maybe a winch to lol

whoever thought up and voted for this i won't vote for... it sucks that they jerk us around for money.. then we have to suffer the consequences of the ticket and other stuff that could result of this "yellow light" time delays.. i live in texas and it sucks now... and yea iam more afraid of driving to work than being bombed by terrorists..

oh lol sorry, i think they were off it was light enough out to be able to see ok without em so i left em off and once again.... I HATE RED LIGHT CAMERAS...its a stupid idea in my mind.. just as was said above now iam afraid of those lights so i involunatrily slam on my brakes when i see yellow... :mad: and they just put another one in..so i have to go through 3 on my way to and from work...every second worrying if its gonna suddenly change and ill be slammed again....but what ive noticed lately is that if iam comin up goin 40 (which is the limit) if iam about 40ft or so back i can make it...i know for sure i can't stop or ill be in the middle of the intersection like yesterday morning... but iam still freaked when it turns yellow and yea that first pic is awesome haha i have it on my myspace haha

iam with ya on that hatin cameras business.. since i got that ticket ive been sooo scared of those lights... yesterday morning comin to work.. as i was comin up to the light it turned orange iam not in for another ticket so of course i slammed on my brakes...guess where i ended up...the middle of the ****** intersection just like what woulda happened if i tried to stop the first time... i was not happy the rest of the day... iam thinkin of emailing or calling the city and explaining to them what a F***tard idea those cameras are..or to atleast make the orange one a little longer..

where would a spicer dealer be? could i just gank one off another explorer at the junkyard? and get explorer u-joint straps for one side and my manche straps for the other?

the only thing wrong with it when i got it was the splash sheilds were..and still are bent to hell.. and the calipers and rotors were gone.. so i nabbed some off another 8.8.. ill have to buy rotors though but iam selling some lol i don't need bucket seats i have a bench now

oh thanks for the tips, i guess ill get that diff.. how much are they? iam on a tight budget haha, and the driveshaft ujoint idea sounds good i may look at some older f150s at a junkyard...or would it be stronger to use that big plate with an adapter?
