Driving on the street to street truck

Burnouts are fun and small tires are cheap. Go with that haha -

I’ve seen WJ lowers used I guess I didn’t see anyone use the uppers. The truck really turned out awesome. Traction has to be an issue haha. -

That exhaust work looks fantastic and sounds even better. What upper control arms are you running? They don’t look stock in the picture -

That engine bay looks absolutely amazing. You forget how bright and beautiful PR4 is until you see it fresh and clean like that. -
Those taillights look amazing! Thanks for posting all the part numbers from the fuel tank job. I’m sure that’s going to help allot of us out.

Very nice. I’ve had a hurst shifter for an Ax15 brand new in the box for 8yrs waiting for something to use it on. That core shifter looks to have a nicer base. -

I love seeing progress on this thing. You’re ripping right along. Idk how I didn’t notice the front valance until now but I dig it. -
91 Eliminator 83K miles refresh with NOS parts
onebigmj replied to Red Mistress's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
You really like red 😂. You should start a build thread for the tow rig. That looks like an entire build on its own. -
Update on my Comanche. It still exists 🤷♂️. All the seals I replaced in the engine must be good. No puddles under it haha. Hoping to get it out in the next week few weeks. I miss driving it.

Small lame update. Stole a set of rigid lights off my other Jeep I don’t love as much and painted them to match some accents on the ruby. Sandblasted, epoxy primed and monstalined my JCR front bumper and got the winch mounted up. I’ve come to the realization that I’ll have to buy a top for it soon... -

I love how this is turning out. Does the shifter come out fairly close to the stock location with the mounts you used? -
Really jealous of the front bumper. How harsh is the ride with those springs?

I know. I’m hoping it still happens. It’s later in the summer usually. I’m not out of hope just yet. -

Yeah that’s a killer swap. That things going to be a handful haha. Mine has a 4.0 and it runs just well enough that I can’t justify pulling it...yet haha. -

Yeah that’s a good reason to try them out haha. I got a killer deal on an Ax15 already setup for an ls with the slave, throw out bearing clutch, flywheel etc etc awhile back and kept thinking of attempting a similar swap. But my truck just runs so nice and is so freaking reliable as it is I hate to take it apart. That thing you’re building is going to be an absolute blast to drive. -
Very nice stance. The bumper looks great too.

Looks like they fit pretty well. They have to be cheaper than the Novak headers. -

Nice freaking work! Did you just massage the tunnel and firewall with a rubber mallet or did you have to do more serious work? -

Thank you sir. It’s been a heck of a project haha. It came out nicer than intended so I had to get another wrangler to wheel 🤦♂️ -

It had to be 5in for me. PA doesn’t take kindly to tires hanging out. And the 5in don’t even cover completely. I’d have run the aluminum fenders with the 3in tapered if I could get away with it. -

Yeah I thought bronze could be cool but I was too big a coward to try it out. -

No I kinda like the aluminum look. It won’t get run in the winter so I think they’ll hold up ok...I hope haha
