  1. My speedometer tops at 85.. the GPS tops at 90, not that I know that.... in other, unrelated news, I can't wait for the weather to improve so I can head out on a camping trip to the (not so) local lake.
  2. Don't we all keep our eyes and ears out for other MJs on the road? Over Christmas I spent some time at my aunt and uncle's place, and they wanted to come out and see what i was driving (first year with a license) it was quite a surprise when my uncle said he used to have one, but his was a white 4x4. It really is great to find out when the /passion/ for them runs in families.
  3. http://stockton.craigslist.org/cto/3519639734.html Other than a few dents It is absolutley beautiful, and i'm going to be in the area this weekend, but I don't have that kind of money...
  4. they can go for half of that around here sometimes.
  5. http://sfbay.craigsl...3515530481.html saw this while cruising craigslist today. i'm not looking for another comanche right now, but i like to see whats out there in my area.
  6. When I'm at the stove, all i'll use is Stainless with a copper bottom. We had a set of non-stick pots and pans that lasted for about three months, and a few stainless that have been in the family for over 20 years. At the BBQ, on the other hand, i have a 12x24 cast iron skillet and a #12 cast iron skillet that belonged to my grandparents.
  7. We have two dogs here, the license is $12 each. I went down this morning to sign up my Dog for welfare. At first the lady said, Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare. So I explained to her that my Dog is unemployed, lazy, can't speak English and has no clue who his Daddy is. So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify. My Dog gets his first check Friday. What a great country this is.
  8. A cup-holder insert for the Comanche, a fishing license and a wireless meat thermometer for my bbq. when i get my paycheck i'll buy new headlights and start looking for a new headliner.
  9. Congratulations.
  10. It is. Thanks for the tip. Instead of going out in the rain I just pulled out the pink slip and started counting. It must have either gotten a paint job in the past, or the bed swapped, because all the others i see on google have Eliminator painted on their sides.
  11. I'll take a picture of the gauges in a while, its raining right now. The guy I bought it from didn't know when I bought it and there wasn't anything in the paperwork.
  12. Hello! that may not be the best way to introduce myself, but I've couldn't think of a better one right now. I have a 1988 base model Comanche that I picked up off of craigslist back in February for $1100, it's my first truck, though I did own a pair of Cherokees that my dad picked up as projects and got bored with. I'm sorry about the image size, I just took the url from my facebook page. I hope to do some body work and repaint it next summer.
