  1. The holes don't line up exactly, just use self taping screws to attach it to the tunnel. What do you mean by too small?
  2. I started to look into mounting them yesterday. I think I decided on removing the feet from both the MJ and ZJ seats, bolting 1/8 inch plate to the ZJ rails, then mounting the MJ feet to the plate. I'm going with plate instead of flat stock so I can position the seat to fit as close to factory as possible, also the ZJ seats are not electric.
  3. Thanks but I already bought the ZJ buckets like I said.
  4. Behind the chebby? I think its a XJ. I followed the roof line and its pretty straight. Yeah thats what I meant. It does look kinda straight now that I look at it. Hard to tell with something in between them.
  5. Checked it out, gonna be awesome. Good luck with that
  6. Nice, is that another one in the background?
  7. Nice, do you have a write up?
  8. That's good. There are tests you can do with a simple meter. I've taken the IATs out and cleaned them. before with good results. Might be worth a try. Ill check it out tommrrow, thanks
  9. Ahh that makes sense, didnt replace the sensor itself, but the connection was defiantly refreshed.
  10. Thanks for the reply, I ended up buying the seats because I just couldn't let them go. Now I have some reassurance. The ZJ rails are spread considerably further than the MJ ones. I think I could use some 1/8 plate across the rails, then bolt the brackets to that. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. I havent considered angle, but it may be a possibility. And on a side note, your Manche is real? I thought it was a photoshop
  11. ^^ IAC is brand new, and I realized that the egr has no vaccum hooked to it right now. I orderd a new vac harness so hopefully this will solve the problem. Yes I unplugged every connection cleaned, and dielectric greased them. CTS is new, and I'm sorry but I'm not sure what an IAT is
  12. So I'm looking to replace my worn out MJ bucket seats. I know that certain year cherokee seats can be modded to fit in a MJ. But I also heard about Grand Cherokee seats fitting in a cherokee. So I'm wondering if they can also be modded to fit in my MJ. If anyone knows what years will fit, or has a link about the grand seats please share. I have a lead on a nice pair of buckets from a 98 grand cherokee, and I don't want to lose them if I can use them.
  13. To my knowledge, I did the ones on the dipstick, the head to firewall, the one for the fuel pump behind the tailight, underneath the steering column, another small one to the dash that under the column, and thats all I can think of right now.
  14. OK, I already cleaned and reassembled if thats what you mean by refreshing
  15. Yup that how I removed mine^ That boot thats in the link I posted is the one i used, and it fit my AX-15 from a 95 cherokee perfectly
  16. here's a link: http://www.quadratec.com/products/52109_02.htm
  17. Yes, that boot will work as I have the same one in my MJ. There is also a boot that goes around the stick it self, and the piece the stick sits in. I also bought it from quadratec, as thats the cheapest place i could find for both of them.
  18. I'm confused now, i though you were suggesting buying the kit?
  19. OK, I just re read that list and I have brand new quality battery cables. So the only ones I would be buying is the block to firewall, and alt output to distrib?
  20. Where is the vaccum line that comes from the egr tube connect to? The round black plastic thing?
  21. Thanks for the link but 200 bucks is just too much for me to spend. What ground would you susspect to be the culprit? I plan on upgrading them all eventually, but anywhere in particular to start?
  22. No, I have not upgraded any grounds yet. But all of the grounds I have come across I cleaned the very well, and then reattached with dielectric grease as a preventative measure.
  23. Yeah, I cleaned the throttle body spotless before re installing it. And the tps ground showed no resistance when wiggling the wires as said in your instructions. And manifold bolts are defiantly tight
  24. ok thanks, I will look into it, but I'm kinda leaning towards the egr, because it does correct itself once warm.
  25. I have a junk tailgate too, what exactly is it you need?
