  1. FYI: I just realized today that the supply is 3/8 and the return is 5/16. looks like its going to work nicely though. Put one fitting on: Taped the line with electrical tape, put in flaring block which i put in the vise, and then took the fitting with center removed, started it then beat it in with mallet. actually went very nicely.

Either gonna use two more quick connects for the filter, or two more steel union-rubber line. Havent done anything yet, but I will post some pics when I do. I used nylon line on another truck that I got from gastankman on ebay. Came out super nice, he sold a kit for the chevy, but not the comanche. The ends are pretty hard to push on. But I found a link a couple days ago that shows using a caulk gun and flaring block to put the barbed fittings into the nylon line. You put the line in the flaring block, place the flaring block across the bottom of the gun, and press the fitting into the line like that. This is what I'm gonna try, but dorman also sells a tool which looks nice.
  3. FYI: If anyone is following and looking for fuel lines, I ended up going with nylon fuel line made by dorman. I bought from amazon along with quick disconnects. under $70 total for everything
  4. where does a shower drain come into play with gas pipe?
  5. Hey, If anyone has a HESCO TPS adapter to run a HO throttle body with a Renix TPS, let me know. I'm in NJ if you are not willing to ship. Have paypal, or cash for local pickup. Thanks!
  6. Also, I am looking to source new fuel lines as well. Does anyone know of a set of fuel lines that will fit the "quick connect" fittings of a HO XJ rail? I have used gastankman on ebay before for a different vehicle with great results, I contacted him but did not receive a response. I am going to contact him again, but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone else had any links to a fuel line set, without going AN
  7. Agreed, I found a mopar one for $90 if the one I have is no good. The fuel rail itself was very dirty, so that i why I am hesitant to use the regulator that was on it.
  8. Yes. But I never tested it. It was never on anything that ran. But they seem pretty cheap to replace
  9. I have a set of ebay remaanned injectors that I think are 3 hole. I ran these my Renix for 3 years. The truck never ran perfect, well consistently at least. I would rather not reuse these. I also have a bunch of other OEM jeep injectors from various years, and varying conditions. As a last resort I could clean them up and use them, But I would much rather purchase a remanufactured 4 hole set
  10. In case anyone in a similar situation is following along, here is one of cruisers links about the Volvo 746s for renix applications http://cruiser54.com/?p=438
  11. Hey everybody! Hoping to shed the light on some issues that others may also be experiencing. Here's the deal: 1987 MJ, Still has RENIX electrical system HO 4.0 Motor and head (2001) HO intake manifold (95?, not the ramshorn style of 01) Matching fuel rail to intake. Has a pressure regulator on the return line. Both supply and return lines are located at end furthest away from firewall. I am looking for injectors that will work with this setup, but I am having trouble determining my necessary specs for the new injectors. Since I am buying new anyway, I would like to get 4 Hole injectors as well. It seems as if the renix injectors operate at a different psi than HO. Since I have Renix electronics, but a HO fuel rail, manifold, engine, I am not sure what injectors would work best.
  12. When will you have more in stock?
  13. Awesome thank you, I am going to try and navigate it now
  14. Ok so I think I understand. Sounds like the 2.5 harness would not work for me. But as far as the XJ harnesses went I thought even if I got a 91 crossbody harness, it would not be plug and play into a MJ? I'm ok with eliminating wires for the rear, but its my understanding the fuel pump wiring is completely different.
  15. So I am aware that in 1991 Comanches adopted the HO version of the 4.0, along with the OBD1 electronics. My question is did the 4 cylinder models in 1991 also have the revamped computer system? Any finally if I have a 1991 comanche HO motor and engine harness, would I be able to plug the HO engine harness into the crossbody harness of a 1991 comanche that currently has a 4 cylinder motor? I'm honestly at a loss because I cannot find any info, and worse I do not have either of these things to look at in person. Any help would be appreciated!
  16. So would a 91 comanche with a 4 cylinder have the same interior cross body harness as a 91 with a high output number?
  17. Hey man I really appreciate the offer. But yes you would need to pull entire dash, and hvac. And it is pretty much a pain to get the actual harness from the body of the truck. And I wouldn't expect you to do that, but thank you!
  18. Hi, I am in need of a under the dash or "cross-body" wire harness from a 91 or 92 high output comanche. Let me know if you are parting out a HO comanche, or happen to have the wiring harness. I'm located in New Jersey, but would be willing to drive or pay for shipping. Thanks!
  19. That's what I mean. To convert the Renix fairly easily he'll also need the dash and cross body harness from an HO, along with the complete HO engine harness with the PDC. I think I mentioned that. Now just to confirm, these all need to be HO comanche specific?
  20. Thats what I assumed. However, I did not know about the convex when I had it milled. And have no idea what the shop did as it was probably 5 years ago
  21. I didnt know advance sold them, I suppose thats an option if I messed mine up. I don't see it being an issue, but at the same time I don't want to find out the hardway and have to drop a trans. haha
  22. I'm almost certain you will need whatever flywheel that matches the year group computer you are running. Sounds like to me you would need the 87 if you are leaving your wire harness and comp. and doing the cruiser conversion. On a side note I just started a thread discussing weather or not to mill xj/mj flywheels. Theres some debate on that, you may want to look at that before you make a decision
  23. So a few years ago I got a fywheel from a 95' ax-15 milled by a shop. It turns out, I never needed this flywheel until now. I have read some very conflicting reviews about milling ax-15 flywheels as they are convex, and do not need to be milled like traditional ones. I have run a unmilled flywheel for about 3 years in my jeep with no issues. I now need to use the milled one, and I am wondering if I will run into any problems. IN SHORT: I have milled AX-15 flywheel I want to use, Ive read thats not ok
