  1. I ended up ordering the new rear slider, however I still plan on removing the old one, and keeping the gasket on tact. I will keep it for future use, or sell it if i don't need it.
  2. What style tint is that?
  3. Yes, I defiantly will remove the sticker. :)
  4. Thanks for the pics guys, I appreciate all the help. I have to say the slider does look good. I'm not really concerned with the headliner issue, as that can probably be addressed fairly easily. I think I know what your saying about the gap, and how it touches in some spots and not others, but if its not a leak issue, then I'll just have to deal with it. I think I'm gonna choose this option because, from what you guys are saying it sounds pretty good. Ill post when I do make a final decision, but I think I'm going to buy it.
  5. checked your build thread buffalo b, you guys were right the slider looks pretty good. And you have a very nice truck by the way
  6. Thanks for responding guys. My dad is friends with a guy who owns a bodyshop, so I was planning on having him help with the install. And also I should have mentioned that all the glass is out of the truck, because I just had it painted.
  7. To the people who have the CRL one, do you have any pics, or could you just explain how you installed it? I'm just trying to make the best choice, as I only want to do this once, and want it to look as good as possible.
  8. So the CLR one does not use the factory gasket/ garnish/ what ever you want to call it, correct? I found one on Team cherokee that says it oem style. Anyone know if its the same thing?
  9. Yes, its glued in with urethane, but I'm referring to the "gasket" thats actually more of a trim piece. From the treads I just read its hard to find.
  10. Thanks, didn't see that the first time I checked. But what do I do if my gasket isnt in tact? any secret place to buy them?
  11. I'll check out the diy section now
  12. Are aftermarket rear slider as bad as some say they are. I need to replace my rear glass, and a aftermarket slider seemed the most logical option. I have a slider in my donor manche, would I be better off taking that out and reusing it, or should I just buy an aftermarket one? Anyone have an expireience with them?
  13. Sweet, thanks. Ill take a look tomorrow and see what I come up with
  14. thanks, ill look into the ICU as soon as i can
  15. Sorry about that, Yes I'm referring to the rpm's at idle. If its not the tps, what do you think it could just make the tach suddenly stop working?
  16. I have a 1987 jeep comanche that originally came with a 4.0, ba-10, and was 2wd. I swapped in a newer 4.0 and front and rear axles from a donor. The donor is a 1989 comanche, with a automatic trans originally mated to the 4.0 that I swapped into the 87. Instead of swapping in the auto trans from the donr, I got a ax-15 from a 95 cherokee. I just replaced the tps with one for a manual trans, which lowered my rpms for the better. however now my tach has stopped working. My gauge cluster is from the 89 donor since it has the correct milage. The tach worked fine before i changed the tps. Could this be my problem?
  17. Thanks for the link, makes more sense now.
  18. I'm about ready to put a windshield back in my MJ, and I wanted to the the rubber trim versus the aluminum. My question is do you have to order a windshield for that stlye cherokee, or do I just order a comanche shield and use that trim? Also how does the rubber trim attach, is it sort of like the rear window?
  19. Thanks alot, I will research them right now.
  20. Could you please share where you bought this? I need to do the same to my seats.
  21. I don't know how much you want to spend, or if you can weld, but JCR makes a MJ rear bumber. Its all the pieces cut, you just weld it together. I think its 185 right now, then shipping.
  22. Thanks, i will definatly look into this. Today the leak stopped? Aftre further review it was plastic push fitting. When I'm ready i will probably do this, i like the idea.
  23. But how would i make a high pressure fitting? I realize i can fabricate the steel part but wht about the transition to the rubber hose? I would rather just buy one do to lack of time, but I'm not totally opposed to making something.
