  1. Thanks guys. I got it. :D
  2. Seriously now. I know a lot of people wouldn't even think of selling, but what do you believe the price would be if ya did? Wade said $6000 I said $4000. What would you guys sell for?
  3. i know i may sound insane, but i wouldn't let mine go for under $6000. I don't think that's insane at all. I just went through all my reciepts and I've spent $2,476.95 on just parts for my truck. Granted, almost everything was new. Some prices I could have paid less for and some I got really good deals on. And that doesn't even count the $1800 I spent on the truck (got ripped off on Ebay). Still I wouldn't even think of selling for anything less than $4000 and my truck is still stock everything and I'm not even done restoring it yet. That's it we're starting a new thread.
  4. Yeah, well you know what guys. I know we've all decided that no one should pay more than $2.37 for a Comanche, unless of course you live outside of WI, but lets be serious for a minute. What would you guys sell your manche for if ya put it up for sale? I know what Kelley Blue Book says. I myself would not sell mine anymore, but for some reason if I had to it would be more than $1500. I'm sure I've gone way over that just in parts alone. Actually I'm gonna tally what I've spent in parts since I got it in August of 2007. I'll be right back.
  5. How do we resize a picture to make it fit in the avatar space?
  6. I would definately check your battery cables, and battery. If they check out, then check your grounds and clean where they connect to the block and firewall. And after that, add a ground wire from your negative terminal to the fender or firewall for a better ground. Worked miracles for my starting times.
  7. Motto my as s! What is the search button for! Well what ever, but you are to search first then ask. Some people don't like reposting twice. I'm all for asking whatever when ever but help yourself first. If not then screw it, I won't try to help. _________________ Please excuse our friend minibeast. It's been a while since he's gotten da nookie. He really is a nice guy :jump:
  8. So 10w 30 would be a good choice for 220,000 miles on a 4.0 with a whole lotta sludge built up inside or should I use something differnt?
  9. I bought these injectors also. I can't tell you if it improved my gas mileage because of other problems with vacuum leaks and such. However I did get better acceleration, faster starting times, and improved drivability. Not only that but I also lost 19 pounds on the Precision injector diet and you can too. Just look at me now. :jump:
  10. No, I did too, it helped. However, my DW dissapeared completely after I changed wheels. I had two that were bent. Oh, and balancing and allighning them helped too.
  11. TK, seriously I want you to check back on this post either in a couple hours or tomorrow. I do agree with you on some of the points that you make but I'd like to give you a perspective on how the world works. Please don't take offense to what I tell you, it's just a differnt opinion and viewpoint from the other side of the country and planet. I don't have the time to write it out right now because I have to close up my shop, put my two kids to bed, walk my Golden Retriever, and hopefully get a little nookie from the wife. But like Arnold said, "I'll be back." :D
  12. Yeah maaaan. Goverment sucks maaaan. Anybody see my veggie burrito maaan :chillin: :jump:
  13. And the back of your valve cover gasket. It made mine look like the rear main went out too. Cleaned it up and all of a sudden no rear main seal leak
  14. Yeah, GOD BLESS THE IRISH! Yeah viva la raza!
  15. Wait, is there something wrong with your cylinder head? If you just need the exhaust manifold for your non-HO you can get em for less than $100 on EBAy. Of course you can go through the dealer and pay like $600 or if you really want a dealer part PM BLHTAZ. He can get you a better price.
  16. Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm not sure on the width. I got em from LEAD "always has cool crap for sale" NOT FOLLOW and Adam wasn't sure. By the way Adam, They look great cleaned up. It only took me and one Mexican, one bottle of degreaser, a box of Brillo pads, hot water and some elbow grease a little less than an hour and we got those suckers looking new. Great transaction by the way from LEAD NOT FOLLOW and for anyone else wondering for future reference, I would definately do bussiness again. Thanks again Adam.
  17. I'm not sure, but I don't think it will work. I think the ports are lined up differntly. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
  18. So, what do you guys think? [/img]
  19. That looks good B. Let us know how it fits.
  20. Core, is there anyway you can buy a cheap starter or borrow someone elses. I had a similar problem on a Jetta VW back in 93. Everytime I drove a long distance it wouldn't start right away. I had to wait hours though to get it to restart. I replaced the starter and the problem went away. It had something to do with a defective starter. Just throwing my experience out there. Don't know if it will help.
  21. That's awesome. 12 hours. If I can get the truck running correctly by then, I will definitely try to make it. Now that you say even stock can go, I'm all syked up :D
  22. Can you guys give me the city state zip address so I can Mapquest it? I got something in IA, Madison City at 1018 miles from me. Is that correct?
  23. Hey guys, I already asked TAZ, but I'd like to know if anyone else did this. I'm replacing the pipe between the Exhaust manifold and the Cat. TAZ says that the Comanche and the cherokee share the same dealer part number., so I'm going to order it from Quadratech. Does anyone forsee any problems with me using the Cherokee downpipe?
  24. Here is the wiring diagrams for my 88. I don't know if that helps ya cause I don't know what year you have http://www.alldatadiy.com/alldata/AFI~V ... 1/34869956 If you have the same year engine, I have the harness from the relays up to the firewall you can have. I pulled it out of a 88 cherokee auto.
