Guest vzehler
Bear with me folks.... I'm doing a pretty thorough write-up and this is a work in progress while I write it in my free time Well, I hadn't seen a write-up for this prior to doing the swap so I thought I would put a little something together for other's who might be interested in doing this themselves. The Parts You will need to obtain the following parts from a 97+ Jeep Cherokee Sport: 1. Driver's Fender (not in picture) 2. Passenger's Fender (not in picture) 3. Header 4. Driver's Headlight Trim 5. Driver's Headlight/Turn Signal Bezel 6. Driver's Turn Signal 7. Driver's Parking Light 8. Passenger's Headlight Trim 9. Passenger's Headlight/Turn Signal Bezel 10. Passenger's Turn Signal 11. Passenger's Parking Light 12. Driver's and Passenger's Fender Bracket's (See Picture #2) 12. Headlight Harness (You won't need to swap this, but, you will need pieces from it. Not included in picture) The Swap You'll start by removing the stock parts from your Comanche in Preparation for the new front end. Remove the Headlight/Turn Signal and Parking Light Assemblies on the driver's and passenger's side. (See Picture #3)

BBCchris
Your telling me..... I've been sitting in the garage since June 15 2008 waiting to get this done. I even had it all layed out in the yard just as pictured, then the snow came and after a few months when the snow went away it's getting hard to even see the parts with all the grass that has grown up over them....... Might just have to put it back to stock, that and I have to pee really, really bad. -Chris

mfpdm
You can always use the one I did for the 86. Same principles, you just don't have to mod the header like I had to. Here's the link viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11270
