skinut88
they don't bolt up there is i believe a 4 inch diffrence in the Zbar linkage. you best bet is to get the adapter plate from novak this is the one i used http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/kit_sk2x.htm or you could fab something up. :brows:
Pete M
This likely won't help your immediate issue, but while we're on the subject, this is the procedure for adjusting the stock linkage.
Darren
pete you did the swap right? how did you get it to work?
Pete M
I swapped in a 99 TJ AX-15/NP-231, so I'm not entire sure the bracketry would match yours, but I Bolted on a flat piece of steel to the new transmission and that gave me a new pivot point in space to match the one on the MJ's body. Motion Offroad
Skyjacker also sells an adapter setup. They say it's for the TJ's; and we have not tried it yet on an XJ/MJ. So I unfortantly can't tell you if it does or does not work. I don't see why it wouldn't though.... A little bit cheaper option than the Novak kit. http://motionoffroad.com/catalog/index. ... cts_id=
