ok so I'm about to pull the head off my 88MJ 4.0L. i have done head gaskets on other trucks but they were small block 350s. is there anything i should replace and are there any strange hang ups pulling the head (think E12 reverse torx bolts on the tranny) :mad: that i should know about. thanks

they don't bolt up there is i believe a 4 inch diffrence in the Zbar linkage. you best bet is to get the adapter plate from novak this is the one i used http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/kit_sk2x.htm or you could fab something up. :brows:

Anyone know whats diffrent between the clutches i swapped the Ba-10 and used the same clutch seems fine just wondering if it makes a huge diffrence.
