Well..... You may find it usefull to back off on the self adjusters just a tad.........

As long as they haven't worn them selves into the drums, once backed off. Yes they will just pull off. Nothing but the rim bolted on holds them in place.

Yeah you could do that, and it's fun too!

But as mentioned you should try backing the self adjuster off some, there is a little rubber oval shaped plus in the backing plate behind your drum. pop that off and with two small screw drivers , one holding the lock tab down and another to turn the little star like wheel. Should make it alot easier to pull off.

It can be pretty hard to see in there a lil flashlight should help out too.

Good luck!

After you back off the adjusters, the drum some times 'rust welds' to the axle hub, if you use just a propane torch and run a some heat on the drum, around the hub and the lug bolts, the drum will "pop" off ;)

got it off very easy, thanks. As i took it off shards of metal and springs fell on the ground. Wonderful.

If you need all the guts, that will be shoes, wheel cylinder, hardware kit and adjuster kit. All readily available from any auto parts store.

You don't want to mess around with using used parts to do brakes. Always use new.

Only 40.00 for all of that...not bad. Now just a matter of putting it all back together.

That's the fun part. Work on only one side at a time. That way you have the other side to look at as a reference.
