Motor Mounts

Hi guys,

 

What motor mounts would you all recommend. This would be for normal driving. I'm not planning on doing anything harsh with my Comanche and it wouldn't see really any offroad. I'm returning everything to what would be an OEM+ condition.

I think I went with the stock replacement Anchor brand mounts on mine when I changed my engine maybe 18k miles ago. I’m happy with them.

If you mean these (LINK), is it normal for mounts to be $7 cheap. Seems like an extremely important part given that the engine sits on it.

Yes, like that. And they do wear out so need to check them from time to time. We've installed poly motor mounts before, but if you want to stay OEM, you can get stock motor mounts at any parts store.

Those would be the ones. Standard

motor mounts are pretty cheap. Poly ones would probably last longer, but they’d also shake the truck.
