Can't MSG users, Other Account Banned

Hi Everyone,

 

Super excited to have an MJ, however I am having the hardest time actually using this website. It's been a while since I've used a forum but I am having an issue where I can't message another user for some items he has for sale. I get a "You are only allowed to send 0 messages per day. Please try again later." text. It also took forever to get registered, it banned my other email and all the pw reset emails I send to this email take hours to arrive.

I’m currently at work. Another admin should be able to look into your user account and approve of you. It’s a measure we have to take to keep spammers under control.

I think this issue might be because you hadn’t posted yet. Now that you’ve got one post, you should be able to PM people. I believe it’s to prevent spam.

@eaglescout526 The messaging error is gone now, and the user I was trying to reach just happens to be you lol.

 

If another admin comes around to look at this-I am mostly good now, my other email is still banned but that's fine as this will be my main account. Just thought I'd let someone know of those issues I ran into.

yup, it's a spam preventative to require one public post before messaging. annoying but it works.

 

if you can message me your other account name, I can figure out what's up with it and maybe merge accounts if you'd like.
