eaglescout526
Let’s test the resistance on those sensors when it’s dead cold and see what it sees. There’s a chart somewhere that cruiser would often post. If not I’ll grab a pic later from one of my manuals of the values for certain temps.

It's dark and cold here and I do not have a garage.

There are some graphics, but I'm not good all with schematics and electrical diagrams. I did read that Renix needs to crank around 300 rpm before firing? If that is true, mine is NOT turning over that quickly.

If that is true, mine is NOT turning over that quickly That would tell me that one of three things is happening. Your starter is dying, your battery cables aren’t making a good connection or are inadequate, or your battery doesn’t have enough cranking amps. I'll let it charge overnight and see what happens in the morning.

Temp this morning is 24 with a 16 wind chill. Charger plugged overnight. Still plugged in, no start, crank is VERY sluggish. The cold is definitely a factor since two weeks ago it was starting and running.

You may want to make a new post about this issue, but I think that should be enough to start it. How do your battery cable ends look both at the battery and at their other ends?
