Vinyl Repair

The bench seat in our MJ has, since we've owned it, had a small tear in the vinyl on the side of the seat on the driver's side. Otherwise the bench is in great shape. The tear is opening though and we'd like to repair it before it gets worse. What methods are there for repairing it other than duct tape?

Sometimes upholstery shops can glue it. I’m not sure if this would be one of those times or not though.

Time warp back to 2011, I tried a vinyl repair kit with good results.

Those seats are long gone. I never mounted them in anything so I traded them away years ago.
