djag12 Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Just purchased an 88 and was wondering if there is supposed to be a panel behind the seat or just the metal? Can someone post a picture. Thanks.
WahooSteeler Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I "THINK" bare metal cab was on the base units, then a vinyl covered panel and carpet covered as you went up i.e. pioneer, chief, laredo. What model do you have?
CWLONGSHOT Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Correct-A-mundo!! :brows: It completely depends on the trim package the origional owner checked off when they bought it. CW
JeepcoMJ Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 that's mine. I recovered it to match my interior.
djag12 Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 Guess I need to find one. Thanks again for all your help.
Pete M Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I attached plywood to my 88's rear wall and put speakerbox carpeting over it. Makes a secure place to attach items like the fire extinguisher. :D
BLHTAZ Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I attached plywood to my 88's rear wall and put speakerbox carpeting over it. Makes a secure place to attach items like the fire extinguisher. :DI haven't gotten to that yet, but that is what I intend to do as well. Mine is just bare metal right now.
