Tex06 Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 Looking for an "e" that goes on the front of the jeep above the Grille. Mine is missing a stud on the rear and was glued on. Picture showing what I need and the broken bit.

It’s new, I highly don’t recommend trying to reuse the original nut that was on, I broke a new set trying to reuse the nut that holds them in place. I’d try to use one of those clips that hold the salve cylinder in place on the manual transmissions.
OldSch88L Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Hummm sorry, as I don't want to divert the thread, but curiosity got the best of me! What year/model got those kind of letters? All the XJs/MJs I saw had stick-on letters and no holes in the header panels?

eaglescout526 Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Don’t forget. 84-87 got brushed letters and 88-90 got just smooth polished letters. Which all I have are brushed letters.

Which all I have are brushed letters. I'm gonna need the smooth ones, mine is a '92. Glad you mentioned that, didn't know there was a difference.

Late 91-92 used just a stick on letter set. That being said, I have a smooth "e", its NOS, not sure if you want to go that route.

Now that I think about it, the front bumper says "90 Comanche" inside it in typical junkyard paint pen. I'll take it, PM incoming.
