Will this 5 speed shifter work on my ax15?

Been there for a month, but I've been looking for a shifter for my AX-15, because mine came out of a YJ and has a taller shifter. Is this likely to be an ax5 or something? Regardless, what are my odds of the shifter being able to fit in mine?

ax-15 didn't come into play until mid-89 and was only available behind the 4.0 (in Jeeps at least) 

 

the ax-5 and ax-15 have essentially nothing in common but the manufacturer.

I mean it is possible to separate the handle and stick it on an AX5 shifter tower if someone wants that taller shifter. 
 

Regardless if it’s AX4/5, you have from basically 1984-2001 XJ.

Ah ok ty. Yea I'll just cut and reweld my shifter before I take apart different ones. But if I ever happen to find an ax-15 on a XJ/MJ I'll just grab that
