Rough idle, dies when warm

Recommended Posts

I just replaced the O2 sensor to fix something else, didn't seem to have any effect on idle. It has been doing this since I replaced the fuel pump. I should clarify, the idle isn't terribly rough, but it sounds kinda like it has a lumpy cam in it. I've poured half a can of seafoam through the throttle body, never cleaned it properly tho. Some times when it's warm I have to give it throttle to open up the throttle body and get it some air.

I am also having this prob with my 88 Jeep. I don't think it's the TPS again. I replaced the o2 Bosch 12009 yesterday and it ran great last night and to work today.  Coming home today I stopped once for 15min and then it ran like crap again. Won't idle. I have to keep wrapping on the gas in neutral until the rpms are up and good then put it in drive to make it home.
