TurboedMJ Posted June 15, 2023 Share Posted June 15, 2023 My truck has an uneven idle and it will die when warm if I don't keep my foot on the gas. I believe it's running too rich. TurboedMJ Posted June 15, 2023 Author Share Posted June 15, 2023 I just replaced the O2 sensor to fix something else, didn't seem to have any effect on idle. It has been doing this since I replaced the fuel pump. I should clarify, the idle isn't terribly rough, but it sounds kinda like it has a lumpy cam in it. I've poured half a can of seafoam through the throttle body, never cleaned it properly tho. Some times when it's warm I have to give it throttle to open up the throttle body and get it some air. I replaced the o2 Bosch 12009 yesterday and it ran great last night and to work today. Coming home today I stopped once for 15min and then it ran like crap again. Won't idle. When I unplug the IAC it's makes a loud hissing noise, that gradually disappears when I plug it in again. Does this mean that it is working?
