USFSOFFICIAL
I have found literally 0 information about this style of alternator, and can find only a few "upgrade" alternators that range between 300$ and 700$. I will not be able to buy this. Is there anyway to switch from the old style alternator to the new style in order to make replacement easier, and act as an upgrade? Eagle
The "old style" alternator is the same Delco style that was used in hundreds of thousands of GM cars and trucks for decades. It's difficult to believe you have trouble finding one.
howeitsdone
Bought a Remy 20352 in February. Works great. $80.
fiatslug87
Are you running a lot of power drawing equipment? Rockauto has some 100 and 105 amp alternators for our trucks, stock was around 60 I believe.

I'm not running anything other than stock, but my buddy recommended I purchased an alternator from a '95, so I already have that one. Do you know if I can just bolt on a newer mounting bracket? cruiser54
Just get a stock one. They're common as belly buttons.
