CheepComanche
I'm looking at installing a CB Radio and have found it more difficult to find a mounting location than I anticipated. My MJ has bucket seats with a full center console. I would prefer If I didn't have to drill holes as the interior is in nice condition. Any suggestions? eaglescout526
Is your MJ an auto or manual? I ask cause if it’s a manual truck, you can use the TCU mounting studs on the lower part of the dash to make a bracket from that to mount your CB. jpnjake
This won’t help you but I cut mine into an extra under dash vent I had and it wasn’t a bad spot

Not sure if I am looking back on my decision in 2006 ->
Big_Mark
Those mount locations look like they are either in the heater box or close to it. How do your CBs function in there? I am also trying to decide where to put mine, seems like under the dash near the TCU bracket would be a good fit.

I never had a problem with mine in there, the heat worked as it should, and it never overheated or anything. I only removed mine because I didn’t use it enough and I think it’s a cleaner look without it
