Rockwell swap?

There’s a guy local selling a set of Rockwell axels and a 6l ls 4l80 setup, I’m more interested in the axels, is this a viable swap? Or completely outrageous? Could the 4.0 handle this or would the 6.0 need to be swapped in?

It depends on what your goals are.  What will you be using the Comanche for?  You also really need to think about unibody strength with axles that big.

anything is possibly with enough time and money and welding, but yeah, that's a serious amount of weight there.

The unsprung weight of those is insane and not ideal for unibodies or smaller rigs. Mainly see them on full size, body on frame rigs. Be better off with tons.
