any info on the aisin warner model n  tranny   no factory rebuild kits  tranny has been sitting  for 12 years  getting it rebuilt  just to be safe

What engine does your truck have and is it an automatic or manual

here's your possible combinations,

4.0+auto=AW4   4.0+Manual in 87=Ba10-5 (Peugeot)

2.5+manual =ax4\ax5 (4speed vs 5speed)
2.5+Auto= AW4 or A904 (4speed vs 3speed)

yep 14 1700  1 yr warranty  but i just paid 3 grand for motor rebuild should be like a new truck

AW4 is your trans, they are pretty much bulletproof
