Oh that guy. He’s a clown. He sells all his NOS parts at those ridiculous prices. I think he has a collection that his wife wants gone and listing it is a way of saying I am selling it.

I know--I was going to point that out but thought the price itself was already outlandish.

 

I can see maybe $200-300.  Not almost a grand...

That Seller has had some interesting MJ pieces over the years.  His strategy seems to be to double his money on what he buys. That handle was listed for $500, he bought it and listed for $900. I've seen him do the same thing with his Lund inventory.  

 

Honestly, it's not a bad racket if you have the space and patience to sit on your inventory for years...like many jeep hoarders are keen to do anyway.  Can't really call him a clown either because, with 9000k positive feedback, people are clearly buying.  He's playing the long game and probably beating the stock market.
