saveevryjp1998 Posted September 13, 2022 Share Posted September 13, 2022 Since this has turned into a thread, I couldn't fathom a blower motor resistor was only made solely for just 2.5 mj/xj for only 2 years one application. Maybe searching which applications that particular blower motor was used on and air compressor for those years besides mj/xj will lead you to a nos source readily available. Maybe you get real lucky to find out half the American made vehicles with air in the early 80s used them. I'd check any 80s vans in the salvage yards for Sheetz and giggles since most likely you might have quick visual access even for comparison. It’s not. Just 84-86. the catalog lists it as with vehicles with factory air. My 79 firebird has the same resistor to our Jeeps funny enough but i don't think it’s a 5 prong resistor.
