86 Mj engine swap

I have a 91 2wd with 2.5 five speed.

Will that engine bolt up to 86 auto 4x4 that had a V6 in it

It should bolt up with no issues at all. Butttttt you might run into issues with the 86 being an auto and the 2.5L being an HO era engine. Are you swapping the engine and engine management over or are you converting it to Renix?

Thx for the reply... I would swap it all if I did it...just wanted to be sure before I make a decision

No problem. I don’t think anyone has HO swapped an auto Renix MJ
