WranglerMangler
Have had some clunking on acceleration as of lately, found a bad driver side motor mount. Hopped on FB market place and just happened to find a pair of installed but never used Brown Dog off road ultra flex motor mounts for $50. Scooped em up as quickly as possible and got them installed tonight. Not the prettiest ever but not complaining. Can paint them if it bothers me in the future. WranglerMangler
No real updates, she just keeps on racking em up without complaint.
WranglerMangler
No real updates on the truck. She has been happily doing the daily grind without any complaints. I did have a front right brake caliper lock up on me recently and got that replaced. Almost to 50k miles racked up on the old girl since I’ve started to daily drive her 2 years ago. Hauling home some more top soil. Moving CommuteChe across the job site the easy way. Lol. Guemes island. We slept in the back of the truck right where she’s parked at there. Woke up to a beautiful San Juan Island view. My parents neighbor had a couple trees taken down and offered us the wood. Couldn’t pass on easy to get free fire wood

WranglerMangler
Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of the 50k miles mark in CommuteChe but we rolled it recently. Got to have some fun in the old girl recently however. Went camping over Chinook pass. It sure was beautiful. Mount Rainier Wildflowers all over the place. Even put the Commuter truck to work hauling home another load of firewood.

WranglerMangler
Rolled 170,000 miles today. Put the old girl to work, went and got a decent load of firewood. No complaints from CommuteChe like usual. Such a pleasure to drive these old trucks.
WranglerMangler
Making a work horse out of the Commuter truck. Saw some pretty sights over Chinook pass!
WranglerMangler
Pretty sure the thermostat is going out again. This one will be the 4th I’ve installed. Had some overheating issues today while pulling Chinook pass for another load of fire wood. Have always noticed but never stopped at this old mine shaft. While the truck was cooling down my daughter and I walked up and checked it out. Goes in 20-25 feet into solid rock.

WranglerMangler
We have got multiple loads of wood since my last post. Trying to get ready for the coming winter. Rolled 175,000miles on this firewood trip. There was also snow on top of Chinook pass. Think I figured out one of the reasons they don’t let commercial vehicles over Chinook pass!
