70barracuda
So because of my aftermarket steering wheel the horn button no longer works. In NJ a horn is needed so I wanna hook up a switch to a factory spot. Does anyone know if the wiper switch or defroster switch from a Cherokee work like a momentary? I know on the newer Cherokee the switches have a momentary push function for the rear sprayer. Just seeing if the older style switch is the same. fiatslug87
Yes, the rear sprayer switch is momentary. I think it’s actually a dual switch, momentary on one end and on at the other for the wiper.

The other direction for standard NJ driving style.
gogmorgo
Alternatively you could run the horn contact ring and wiring out of the two-spoke steering wheel/column and hook up a monentary push button style switch on the steering wheel itself that grounds to the column via the steering wheel.
