Seat Belts

Going to replace the old seat belts. Does anyone know if the 2 or 4 door Cherokee ones will fit?

I had researched this a while back.  The XJ seat belts do not fit the MJ.  For the 4 dr., the retractors sit lower in the body in an XJ.  Plus, it is shaped differently.  For the 2 dr., since the front seat tilts to allow rear seat entry, those too are positioned differently, also.

 

I found a company that repaired mine.  I will have to look up the name. 

 

(On mine, the belt stopped retracting.)

I know some have successfully installed new seatbelts from both eBay and other online suppliers. I believe they were listed as fitting a 4dr XJ but are not oem. They look quite nice though

I used these, had to bend the tabs on the mount a little bit to get them to fit.

They work great, got into a low speed crash and they locked right up, saving me from going into my steering wheel.
