Muncher Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 so out it was raining out all day today and me and my friends had reliazed that there was a very large rainbow puddle under my vehicle in multiple different places i went. this hasnt happened till about a day or two ago but my brakes go all the way to the floor before anything happens and they would stay in place but now i go all the way down and sometimes they just give out. so I'm guessing i have little to no brake fluid. the puddles came from the middle of the hood on the bottom what brake lines should i be checking for spot? or could it maybe be those rubber hoses from the lines to the calipers
75sv1 Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 I'd also check the master cylinder. There is a seal at the Booster end.
JustEmptyEveryPocket Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Simple answer here. Fill the master with fluid, start the truck, crawl underneath, have your friend step on the brake. Wear goggles. When you get sprayed on by a broken line, replace it. Repeat as needed.

Yea I'll try that. Thank you.
Eagle Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Your Jeep is 34 yours old and you live in the northeast. Don't mess around, just replace all the brake lines. I suggest cunifer, because it's much more resistant to corrosion as well as being easier to work with than steel.
