Cali Steve Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 Vacuum connector to throttle body has a leak. Can we still get these or is it better to run individual lines instead? Thanks for the advice
eaglescout526 Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 It is. It’s an 86 so it’s a very very odd duck. Ive never looked into that part as the later years go to just single hoses but I can see if that’s something that was available.
Big Dan Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 Hopefully eaglescout will be able to locate something. On mine, I ended up running individual lines. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
eaglescout526 Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 I am not seeing it as a serviceable component sadly. No new harnesses are out there either. So probably some RTV may not be a bad idea for getting the block to seal right. Or the block can be done away and just straight pipe. I sadly don't have an 86 and have only worked with 3 86 2.5Ls in my life. It must also be a sought after vac line as when I was in Prescott Valley last weekend I found a 4 door 86 that didnt have any lines but just the manifold. Damn I need to go back to that yard.
Cali Steve Posted September 8, 2021 Author Posted September 8, 2021 Thanks! Looks like I'm running some vacuum lines tomorrow!
