AdroitKirby
Anyone know how to go about restoring this? Some of the plastic seems to be peeling up and I'm not quite sure how to tackle restoring this: Bottom left corner of trim. I also haven't cleaned it just yet to avoid damaging it further. NC Tom
If it's just peeling, but otherwise okay, contact cement may work. Then you might want to clean it and wipe it down with a little mineral spirits and then apply a clear topcoat.
scaleless
The whole plastic trim piece or just the film with the grain graphic on it? The assembly is the back piece and a front piece molded together. Sometimes the front piece (with the graphic printed onto it) separates from the back piece and if that happens it's very easy to just epoxy them back together when the guage trim is removed from the vehicle. AdroitKirby
Just the film itself, I think. Most of it is in pretty good condition but the film lifted entirely and tore in 2-3 places. Would I be better off removing the whole thing and applying an entire new face of the film? Ill take a better picture later today
eaglescout526
I may or may not have one of these bezels as a spare.
AdroitKirby
Main reason I'm trying to fix this one is cause I got it for less than $

AdroitKirby
That looks good. Do you also have the wood trim upper door panels to go with that?

87MJTIM
Just remember, I have a parts 93 XJ that has the wood grain door uppers. The bezel is a little faded.
