A-man930
Well, I bit the bullet and trimmed 1.25" all the way around... it turned out way better than I expected 8)
TNT
Looks good. Raised flares to the bodyline will work great for that. Just cut even with the bottom of the turnsignal and continue the cut down on the lower rear so you barely cut the first bolt off. I'll get you pictures of the flare so you can see what to do on it. It's really simple.
A-man930
After takin' her out several times over the break, I've decided that putting the flares back on would really only give me something else to worry about breaking... Whiteshark, what did you put in place of the flares? I've seen that little black strip on cut fenders before, and I think it adds just enough of a "finished" look for me. Hopefully within the month I'll be tackling the rears :D
Confedneck
whiteshark, how did you stabilize the bed sides... and to avoid having to use rubber trim on the edges, just cut a 1/2" notch in the fender at the corners of your cuts and fold them... on my fronts on my manche thats all i did, i removed the flares, cut the notches and folded, kept all the stock body lines, i need to trim it higher, because i cut the rears so high, but it looks clean...
