  6. where is that found? does my truck have it since its a manual? is it a 4.0? Here is a link that describes basic Renix sensors The CPS is second to the end.. It is said that if you unplug the CPS and then plug it back in it gets a better signal to the computer.. ok thanx bud but hey does my comanche even have a cps since its a manual? ive been told manuals don't have a cps....thnx I know if its a 4.0 it does. manual and autos do,, not sure about 2.5 or 2.8l's ok bud yup i got the good ol renix so i ll check the sensor....how much are they new would you happen to have an idea?

  9. hey guys well i recently purchased a new comanche and ive noticed if i don't turn it on for like 1 or 2 days it has problems with starting it will just crank forever then a few tries later it will finally start....ive checked the fuel pump relay which is good, my fuel pump sounds good since i can hear it working, i got new sparkplugs, wires and cap and rotor, all my electronics seem to be where there supposed too aswell I'm stumped and very aggrivated i need this thing to be dependble and turn on every time ...before i take it to an electrician i want to see if any of yall have had similar problems...thnx to all in advance
  10. i noticed that if i disconnect my battery it goes to zero....
  11. well my manche is an 88...when i turn it off the voltage goes down to 12 from 14 then if i don't start the truck for 2 days it will die on me I'm guessin that the gauge is staying on and therefore slowly draining my battery what do u think ive chexked everything and there nothing that can stay on to drain my brand new battery
  12. as the title says my power gauge(voltage, whatever its called) is staying on thus I believe its draining my battery...do yall have any idea why my gauge is staying on? thnx in advance
  13. hey man i know its kind of off topic but your jeep ravine wheels are the 15s or 16s?
  14. Hey guys could you all be so kind as to provide some pics of comanche with approximately 4 to 4.5 inches of lift like spring over and stuff with 31's?
  15. Hey guys I'm having a bit of a problem with a new comanche i just bought...its an 89 comanche 4.0 5 spd manual 2wd ... the problem is that it won't start or takes forever to start .... it will just crank forever ... then ill mess with the ignition coil area where the wires are and all of a sudden when i try again sometimes it will turn on...seems like a common problem for these lil trucks my previous one had a similar problem...any help or does anyone know a solution i really want to drive my truck to school but since its not very dependable i havent been able too...thnx in advance guys...cheers :brows:
  16. So your using the gears off a Tj? thnx man
  17. i know it isnt that hard but i havent been able to find one locally but have seen some rear dana 44s off of jeep tjs.....i know you have one man i wish you were near so i could pick it up.... :brows: .... I'm jealous...are you willing to just sell me the internals?... :D
  18. yes you are right 3:55 and lower for carriers but the rubicon doesnt come with an arb its an air locker but it isnt arb...but I'm not really interested in the air locker all though that would be sweet I'm just looking for a cheap way to regear my rear end since finding a dana 44 off an xj or mj is very rare and tjs with 44s are a dime a doen to where i can pick one up at a junk yard....
  19. damn i feel like a rock...what does IIRC mean ? i want to get maybe 3:73 or 4:10 since mine probably has the 3:07 so i know i need the carrier as well...sorry bud I'm a newb!! lol...
  20. so let me see if I'm understanding this if i want to use gears out of let say even just like a shahra with the rear dana 44 id have to also change the axle shafts? or am i understanding this wrong?
  21. hey guys one quick question i have a manche with rear dana 44 will the gears of a rear jeep rubicon 44 work on my truck? thnx in advance!!!
  22. thnx everyone!! yup its got a ltd slip...for it has a little plate that states only to use ltd slip oil in the diff ...thnx again
  23. How do i find out the gearing on my axle if the plate where it states the gears is not there and i really don't want to open the diff ... is there another way or what do you guys think the truck is an 89 2wd Manche standard with the rear dana 44
  24. Haha thnx man ...well don't know what else to put seems like i already stated all the specs....just an 89 or 88 i forget with 147,xxx miles has open element air filter, flowmaster exhaust with no catalytic and mustang injectors..the drivetrain is all stock as in gearing and axles which are the 30/35 lift consists of 4.5 in coils in the front with 1.5 coil spacer and rear is a 6 in leaf spring in the rear i believe...i just switched tires yesterday gas was killing me as i am a student (I'm 16 ) and was getting 10 mpg since my gearing is original and an awesome opportunity was set forth ..my old 35 in MTZ's for brand spanking new 33.12.5 claws so i traded them..ill post pics as soon as weather permits to take more photos....here's a pic with the old tires still on...lil bit of saturday mornin eye candy...thnx guys
