How to use a auto column in a manual

Recommended Posts

So you just swapped a ax15 into your automatic truck but didn't get the manual column?

someone tried attempted to remove your comanche from your possession but couldn't figure out your kill switch and all that you can find are auto columns?

well here is a lengthy write up ( with pictures of course) of how you can remove the shift lock out from that auto column.

(not so fun part, I claim no responsibility if you screw it up, you are doing this at your own risk. I am only showing you a way to remove the interlock and nothing else.)

I just saw this today, but I'm SO glad someone did this since I'm working on swapping an AX15 in my auto truck!  So the whole point of this is just to remove that little white detent in those pictures?  That's all that stops you from being able to remove the key?  That and the rods that make it work?
