I was just driving my truck and all the sudden i lost my power steering I belive. Really hard to turn the wheel. Only noise I heard from the steering was a weird sound when turned all the way to the left or right. I also checked under my truck and didn't see any fluid leaking or anything. Whay could this be?

I also had one of the pulleys squeaking and I had just assumed it was a idler pully but as soon as this happened there was no more squeaking from and pulleys or the belt

Sounds like the pump may have gone out. So zero power steering now at idle?

Yep none at idle or while driving.

Is the belt still there?

That I haven't checked yet actually had to leave right after it happened

Sudden loss of power steering, combined with how the squealing stopped means this should be the first thing to check. Don't run the truck too much without the belt as you also have no cooling and no charging.

If it's squealing at full lock, that means the pump is still turning and loading up.  It also means you should probably tension the serpentine belt, because the squealing is usually the belt slipping under load.
