Been reading mixed things about spring over and spring under axles and was hoping to have some questions answered here. Going from spring under to spring over, does it increase ride height? What are some benefits of going to spring over?

Spring over is really only if you are trying to lift the truck ~5" in the rear. That is the purpose of doing it.

Spring over does definitely help with clearance under the axle and provides some decent lift. One drawback is that they are more susceptible to axle wrap. 5+” of lift height will require significantly more mods than lower lift heights.
