Pepboys radiator??????????????????????

Going to the open cooling system on my '88 MJ. Was in Pepboys tonight to get something else, but decided to ask about the radiator for a '92 XJ. Dude said they had one for $129.00, I asked to see it, it looked okay quality wise, but it was made in China. I did end up buying it, but am definitely having second thoughts. Also, I am assuming its a 2 core.

 

Any opinions on my purchase?? I appreciate any feedback!! -MAtt

Well, for the price you prolly got the standard run of the mill unit that will most likley do you just fine. (alum/plastic)

There was a post on here that..here it is this company states there units are all metal so that’s better that the plastic tanks you get local

Their radiators are fine. Not going to be anything better than stock, but won't be worse either.

guess i will stick with 2 row for 120. or should i spend 50 more for 3 row.... trying to decide. any suggestions

Just get one with metal end caps. The plastic one's tend to crack waaaayyy to easy.

I don't think you need the 3row..but ifyou have the money to spend it will just be a plus

 

But I have a two row (all metal) and i have never had any heat issues

soyou don't need the 3 row

just picked up a 3 row for $50 --- second hand, steel tanks ;)
