Yes.  You can even swap a 97+ front end if you want.  Though it's a little bit of extra work.

Just about everything from the doors forward on these trucks are the same as an 84-96 XJ, but 97+ parts can be used with some work. Welcome to the forum!

if you're talking about the whole-sale change? then yes.   but the individual parts may not.  a lot got redesigned in 91 so 84-90 pieces won't necessarily swap with 91-96, even though on the whole they look the same.

Thanks for all the info I've redone a jeep yj and a cj but never got to much into the mj and xj till now.
