Pete M Posted January 27, 2021 Share Posted January 27, 2021 2dr XJ seats with the straight sliders are more or less the same as MJ buckets and will go on to your bench floor brackets fairly easily. 4dr XJ seats with the straight slider are also close enough to work, but don't lean forward. any XJ seat with the curved rocking slider will sit you up a couple inches higher than stock MJ buckets but still work. 96+ have a completely different type of assembly underneath and need a bit more fab work. most any junkyard bucket seat from any car can be installed if you can fab up an adapter out of flat stock or tubing. benches too. in the link in my signature you'll find a writeup on using the dakota split bench.
