JeepFanatik
Anyone know what i can use as a plug on the intake and exhaust manifolds to remove the EGR tube between them? This is the last bit i need to take care of for EGR delete. Thanks everyone!
omega_rugal
for the intake side you don need anything but a blanking plate, or tap the hole and use the matching plug for the exhaust side you can cut the pipe, extract the plug and weld it shut some say you can use an oil pan plug... I assume the plug for the renix intake.....that is the part number written below it? And i assume per the writeup i use a renix gasket? I do like the idea of replacing the exhaust manifold and intermediate pipe with HO variants to get rid of the EGR bung. I was already wanting to replace the intermediate pipe. JMO413
090-061 is the Dorman part number for the plug. The HO head pipe was also cheaper than the Renix. Renix gasket for sure.
