Oizarod115
Hey Y'all, I'm looking for a set of taillight mounting screws and clips. Anybody got some they can spare? Thanks, -Nick

Oizarod115
Nothing in the store fit the clips I have, didnt measure the thread but it seems to be coarser than 6-32 but about that size. May be metric but none of the std metric stuff fit. so perhaps its not 0.7 thread pitch or maybe its a M3.5 long story short...if you have extra taillight hardware, i'd be stoked to have the factory stuff. eaglescout526
34201265 Here's the part number for the clip. Ill try to look it up later in my Mopar screws and bolts book for specifics. Otherwise theres 5 of those clips left in the US.

ghetdjc320
I used an off the shelf clip with a stainless socket head screw and it’s a perfect fit

I searched Summit racing and the local hardware didnt find anything decent.
ghetdjc320
Fastenal has them but they are also in the hardware section of pretty much any auto parts store. Just keep in mind that it’s best to use a screw/bolt with a flat shoulder. Anything with a angled shoulder can crack the plastic lens very easily. I’d start by finding the best fitting fastener and then find the appropriate sized nut/clip. Socket head bolts worked well for me. Most parts stores refer to the clips as “speed nuts”

eaglescout526
Who knows, I was going off of what the book said, I should go back and reread what the symbol means for what the 1/4" is under. At least I thought it was diameter but I could be wrong. Happy to help though.

Oizarod115
if anyone finds this thread searching, the taillight screws are a #7 sheet metal screw. Finally found some at a better hardware store
