That needs to be remade. I know a guy with a vinyl plotter...Maybe this will happen.

rtferguson_39
The Budget-Minded Clear Coat: Boiled Linseed Oil. There. I said it, I did it, and I am quite pleased with the results. I mixed a 2:1 cup (2 parts BLO, 1 part mineral spirits) and went to town on my faded two-stage paint. I rubbed down the header panel, hood, upper door frames, roof (the primer showing through looks great actually), upper bedsides, and tailgate. At a cost of 35 minutes of my life and $16, I don't see a single downside to this quick-shine method. Unfortunately this is all the attention other than driving and changing oil that this truck has received recently. There's a '49 Dodge that's been taking up a little more of my free time. Anyway, here's some pictures.
rtferguson_39
Tailgate Fun. So I replaced my cracked and falling off tailgate vinyl with some new stuff. I also made my own custom Willy’s 2wd sticker just for fun. Here are the results. I’ll have to apply some more linseed oil to get the shine back. I plan to keep her going as she is, and just return the exterior to near showroom glory. Once I get another project car out of my garage within a few weeks, this MJ returns to enclosed storage when not in use. Dailey Driver, that's what I call it.
