I forgot to mention, like JEEP says...all of our white goods purchases have been from a local Indy appliance store, not a big box place.  Yeah, you might pay a couple but more, but it's worth it.

Thanks. I will be sure to pass that info along.

Please, tell me more. You have peaked my curiosity.

I love telling this story lol. My wife and i bought our house two years ago and when we moved in we decided we wanted a dish washer. I found one listed on craigslist for $40 a 1996 whirlpool model. I was very skeptical but the pictures looked good so i called the guy up. After talking with him for a bit i found out he was a nicer old timer and he had built his wife her dream kitchen back in 1996 after he installed the dishwasher he called out a plumber to hook everything up the plumber informed him that their well would not be able to keep up with the demand of the dishwasher so he never hooked it up. Now I know nothing about wells and i have no idea if the guy was telling the truth but all the shelves and racks were still in the plastic wrapping and the hoses still had the factory plugs on them. I drove all the way out to his house which was in a very rural area and when i got there his wife saw that we were a younger couple and made him give it to us for free lol. I slipped him a $20 and told him it would be our secret lol. Anyway i got home and installed it and it perfectly. We essentially got a brand new dishwasher for $20.

Sounds fancy.

it is.  :D  the only other fullsize dishwasher in my life was my grandma's which is still functioning and still from the 80s and still so loud that you have to shout at each other if you're in the kitchen while it's running.  :fistshake2:
