WesD
1987 Jeep Comanche 4x4, 2.5, base Bought brand new 5/12/1988 by my dad. Total cost was around $6500 and the payments were $112.68 a month for 24 month loan. I remember the test drive, the day he brought it home, and I recall seeing the window sticker in the early 90s in the glove box. Unfortunately all the paperwork is gone. I drove this truck many times in high school, to my job, on my first date, and to my first day of college in the big city. My dad last drove it in 1999. It sat for the next 20 years in the woods. It was waiting in the woods when 9/11 happened, the great financial crisis, GWB inauguration (2x), Obama (2x), and Trumps' first inauguration. I bought 3 new Fords, 4 new Chevys, and 2 new GMCs during this timeframe. Lived in 2 different states, graduated college twice, got married, bought a few houses, etc. Had 5 dogs, a few different jobs, and flew about 2 million miles around the world for work. In short, a lot changed between 1999 and 2019. And now it's sitting in my garage to spend the rest of its days. It feels just like 1996 all over again every time I drive it, except I'm a little heavier now, and just a tiny bit smarter, but I know a lot less now than I did back then. This picture is around 1990.

89 MJ
If I remember correctly, it was parked because of rear end damage? Am I correct? I think the reason is in your build thread, I’m just too lazy to go looking.
