eaglescout526
That reminds me, I need to give those guys another call about the windshield decal. Wonder why they didn't tell me about this project. Would make sense why the windshield was on the back burner at their operation. Looks really good! Nice going!

I reached out to Spencer about making these and he had never done these particular decals before. I thought they came out great and as you know he’s super easy to work with and his work is quality. I did have a friend put together a computer graphic and sent him the file. But I’m assuming he still has them and can work from that. As you can see in the pictures these decals aren’t factory colors. Here’s a couple pics:

Vineyard86manch
I was thrilled with the final product. Below is a pic of the original paint and decals. I’ve looked high and low and my mj is the only one i’ve seen with “Jeep” decal near the taillights. I’m guessing it was left off of most by workers ready to push the trucks off the assembly line:))) Can’t wait to see how they come out, tell Spencer that Jared says hi! Awesome to see the different colors! When I bought the truck a couple years ago I loved the decals but they were pretty faded and the truck had surface rust in a number of areas so I decided to bite the bullet and have it painted. I had the body painted medium blue metallic (a factory color from ‘86) before I decided to re-create the decals. Red and orange probably wouldn’t have looked bad but I got the idea to do the shades of blue and white and Spencer did a great job bringing it to life.
